Rachael Elizabeth Shaw fell in love with teaching
during her early high school years where she was in charge of helping the boys of her show choir learn the choreography. It
was then that she realized how much she loved to teach. She received great joy from watching each one of them realize
that they could dance. Since then she strives to help every one of her students realize that if they want to learn something,
they can find a way to succeed. She loves helping guide children & opening their eyes to the wonders of music. From
the youngest infant to the oldest youth, she is happy to help anyone willing to learn.
Rachael
Shaw has a M.A. in Speech/Theatre and a B.A. in music. She graduated from Louisiana Tech University in 2004 and has been working in
music ever since. Over the course of lessons and shows, Rachael has thirteen years of dance training as
well. Currently, Rachael is a music teacher at the Carolyn Barron Montessori School. She created and has led the music program
there for the past three years and has grown a special bond and friendship with the students there. She also teaches private
voice & piano lessons every week to eager students. During the summer, she directs music & drama camps where she teaches
students of all ages how to dance, sing, act, write scripts, and learn lines. With her free time she sings on the vocal team
at her church, and she performs in musicals at community theaters.
If it isn't obvious, Rachael is addicted to
music. She is living the life she loves, and enjoying every moment combining young minds with music. Rachael
is very excited to be taking this new step with Tiny Tunes Music Time. She is looking forward to not only teaching,
but growing and learn with the students and parents during their classes. She also hopes to share the experience
of joy and fun that music has brought to her life.
